Expanding Crisis Services in the Tri-Cities

Meeting people where they are - 24 hours a day

As Northeast Tennessee’s regional mental-health provider, Frontier Health plays a vital role in responding to crises across Washington, Sullivan, Carter, Johnson, and Unicoi Counties.

Its 24-hour Mobile Crisis Hotline - 877-928-9062 - connects callers directly with licensed clinicians who can provide phone support or face-to-face intervention.
Individuals in crisis can also walk in at Turning Point, Frontier’s crisis stabilization unit located at 208 E. Unaka Avenue in Johnson City, TN.

Frontier Health collaborates closely with Ballad Health, ETSU Addiction Science Center, and TSPN to strengthen the regional network for suicide prevention, recovery, and behavioral-health access.

Frontier’s mission is simple but powerful: to meet people where they are and connect them with the care they deserve. Whether through mobile teams, peer support, or partnerships like VICTOR, the message is clear - help is here, and no one has to face a crisis alone.
